The difference between FDR/America and Stalin/Russia really does break my heart. =/ Because you know they're all going to be sitting around a table at the Tehran Conference or something (with Churchill and England, another BFF boss/country relationship) and Russia's going to have to try so hard not to be completely miserable about it...
Then the way FDR helped build America's confidence back up. Fantastic! ♥
America really just needed someone in his corner, seriously. =D I'm thrilled you enjoyed it!

This sentiment works both inside and outside Hetalia. XD I just could NOT let the 1930s go by without a decent FDR appearance. Especially since there's so much Stalin--let it never be said that we are biased towards writing about misery! (We don't need to be, history did it for us with this pairing.)
Wizard should be back from her vacation tomorrow, and she'll probably have the next chapter or two all written up and ready to go! We'll most likely stick to the every four-five days schedule, that seems to have really worked for people. =D

this is the start of Al's hero complex, yes? oh my poor, poor russia! this is so sad because even when the cold war ends and they are allies again its never gonna be the same between them. america is gonna always have a part of him that wonders when russia will leave him again and russia is never going to forget how confused and hurt america looked when they met again...and the hatred between them during the cold war is always going to be there in the back of their mind's
