Thank you! Messing around with real historical figures is always a little dicey, but I've always imagined Roosevelt's interactions with America as being like an awesome dad. *grins*

Hahaha--Lenin called Russia "Ivan" in The New Guard, and Roosevelt did call America "Alfred" in The Heartbreak, but it was so quick you might've missed it. Wizard and I decided that human names was just what humans would call them--unless they were totally incapable of recognizing their country's underlying humanity (hence Stalin calling Russia "Russia").
