I'm not exactly sure where this short story is from, but the Chinese version that I read said that it was an appendix in vol. 2 of the manga. It takes place on the ship before the sailor-fuku pirates attack. Yuuri has a misunderstanding, and Conrad is an epic troll.

and tbh, i have this feeling that if i didn't know this happened at quite the beginning of the series, i'd assume that they're already romantically attached to each other LOL

I took Conrad's "you can stab me" to mean "in bed", trololol~ Isn't Conrad such a nice boyfriend? He offers to bottom, aww~

I love how Conrad played along just to finally trap Yuuri in the end X3 I think they kinda missed out by leaving out bits like this in the Anime-- they should of showed more sides to Conrad's personaliity, like amazingly clever troll-rad XD lol thanks again! ;w; //hearts

Troll-rad is the bestest thing ever, and goes a long way toward explaining things like ninja!Conrad. See, deep in his heart, Conrad is a massive troll. It only makes sense that he would take so well to running around in a ninja costume. XD

Awesome~ I started off thinking, 'Oh, how much of a troll could KondoMa-era Conrad possibly be?' and then BAM! He was even kinda-sorta pulling Josak into it~ I have a feeling Troll-rad will become part of my vocabulary.

Thanks for translating this! I think this evens things out for making me cry with Ephemera~
Although, I wonder why I didn't notice this post back in October :p
