Ouch, ouch! When I started to read this I was mildly amused at first, because it was cute to see Murata and Yuuri having such a normal teenage-boy conversation, but between Murata's dream and the bit in Conrad's room I actually teared up for real a little bit. Oh god, I really do feel a little pathetic for being as moved by this as I was. *clutches head*

Another possible interpretation, and the one that I prefer, is that it's pretty much a slap in the face of mono no aware. Yuuri's all DO NOT WANT. He rejects transience in favor of preserving their bond.

I kind of want this to be the correct interpretation as well, because it fits in so neatly with Yuuri's habit of being incredibly stubborn about something in the face of overwhelming odds. ...and, er, if I start going on about the "soulmates" thing I'll never shut up, but I think you just summed up the exact way I feel about the relationship more succinctly than I've ever managed, so. :D

I felt really bad for Murata after his dream. There's a part of him that can talk about wet dreams with Yuuri, and then another part of him that's just so far beyond a normal teenager's comprehension. Poor guy... I just want to give him squishes ;~;

As for Conrad, ;aoirf;fnj;anoiujujdnkh GUH ♥. Yeah, that pretty much sums up my feelings. I don't know if I could have not written up the extra bits because it's all... I mean, soulmates! :D

I barely consider season 3 canon. I'm not sure how I made it through that hot mess, but I don't remember much of it anyway, besides the fillers and the first couple of episodes. Ah, Sara... I think the anime producers just latched onto him because he's pretty and quite feminine in appearance, so that lessened THE GAY.

But hey! At least now we know the "sensing each other" thing is novel canon, too! Or it sort of works out that way in their dreams?

Ahaha... Sometimes I research random stuff just for the heck of it. In the case of these translations, sometimes one reference to Japanese culture leads to another and another until I'm totally sidetracked. XD

I'm torn. I want them together, but I want them apart, too. It would be AWESOME if Conrad became king, but I would cry because I want him to be able to stay with Yuuri~ T^T

Ah, I still haven't gotten around to reading more novels, so I'm curious as to what's going on with this convoluted plot!
