Does anyone have any weird/wonderful/crazy websites that I can kill a few hours with?

I'm desperately trying not to spend any money at the moment so I'm staying home and generally being anti-social for the next week or two but boredom is really starting to set in. There are only so many hours you can spend on omegle.com or ohnotheydidnt before you start ( Read more... )

My cure for boredom is time management games. They can keep me engrossed for hours.

Any in particular?

I do find myself spending hours on the games at Yahoo etc so I'm always open to other games!

Right now I'm stuck on Hell's Kitchen but it's one of the more difficult ones. I started with the Diner Dash series.

Can you access pogo.com where you are?

I've been known to spend hours playing online games on that site.

I have a general question related to TNA that you may or may not be able answer. Is Mick Foley wrestling or doing anything in TNA? I saw a magazine cover with Mick Foley with the heading "Old Career, New Era for TNA."

I didn't a chance to see inside, and I haven't watched TNA in a really long time.

Ooh, I can access pogo.com. That's going in the bookmarks!

Foley came into TNA a few months ago. He became the Executive Shareholder (yes, another authority figure), started wrestling, beat Sting at Lockdown for the World Title and is currently play a crazy, kinda heel character.

He's feuding with Jarrett and TNA are being quite inventive in creating ways to keep him out of the ring as he's really not fit enough for it any more. I'm really hoping he'll lose the belt Sunday at Slammiversary.

I was surprised that Mick was doing anything with wresting in general or TNA specifically because I had heard as far back as the straight shooting DVD with Joe and Punk that he wasn't in very good shape anymore (Joe saying that his angle with Mick got dropped because of his lack of fitness)

It's odd because when he first came into TNA he seemed to drop a lot of weight very quickly and had a decent enough match with Sting but since then he's regressed backwards.

At least he isn't champ any more now.

TNA really should use him in a backstage capacity because I'm sure he could provide a few booking ideas and he'd definitely help some of the younger guys with their promo skills.

texts from last night is an AWESOME time waster. i spent days going through their archive (granted, i had other things to do, so you'll probably get through it quicker), and spent the vast majority of it laughing.

Haha, I like that site.

Have you been to fmylife.com? It's a similar thing but is general stories instead of just text messages.

Seconded. I wasted my childhood on that game evil procrastinator's toy, until I got into fandom. :O

I've been to neopets before. It took me MONTHS to break that addiction!

Daffney's an AMAZING wrestler and from what I grasp of her seems to be a sweet person, too.

I Love The Defamer. And cake wrecks is also awesome

ETA: I also have a large number of BC Q&A links lying around, if you wanna watch those.

Yes! BC Q&A links are welcomed - especially if he's being as cute and witty as normal.

That cake site has just made me hungry. Even if things are spelt wrong they still taste nice ^_^

I think it's absolutely impossible for him not to be cute and witty ;) . I've got a bunch of 'em embedded into my picspam, which I just posted - there are tons more floating around youtube, but that set's my fave.

I swear the main reason I love cake wrecks isn't the disasterous ones but the weekly posts of Awesome Cakes that Turned Out Well. It makes me look at my abandoned pastry arts minor and cry with envy.
