Oh gods the updates!  I’ve been trying for a week to get some update-age here, but I’ve just been so busy that it keeps falling by the wayside.  So - here’s some text in severely abbreviated format!

Wow, Kayaking the Shenandoah.........it had to be amazing. I am nowhere near the shape I would need to be in to do something like that, but it sounds AWESOME. Makes me want to go out to the lake and start rowing just to get my arms in shape. Were you able to take pics?

It was SO lovely - sadly I didn't bring my camera, so I didn't get any pictures... probably just as well considering the fate of my cell phone ;)

If you're looking for places to do a little kayaking, there are several places that do shuttling and rentals along the chattahoochie - the two I know off hand are Up the River Outfitters and The Dam Store. It's a great way to spend an afternoon, now that's it's summery!

that's why whenever you go camping, kayaking, canoeing, or just roughing it in general, you leave the phone at home. besides, while you're out having fun, phones and such technology are just a distraction =)
