Excellent fic. Her grief, her anger at Sam is understandable and so palpable here. Even though we know the truth behind Jessica's death, it's so easy to see how others may have assumed that he had something to do with it--especially in light of the recent crimes he's been accused of.
I really liked this outside perspective and the flashbacks back to when Sam approached Jess' parents about marriage. Those little moments were really sweet. :)
This was a very well written fic. Thank you for sharing it with us. :)
That was...wow...that was intense. We all know how totally wrong she is about Sam and the Winchesters, but her grief and her hate are just so real that you can't help but feel for her. We always see Jessica's death through Sam's grief, and seeing it through her mother's eyes is so obvious in retrospect but so innovative in execution.
Very nicely done ... the grief ... anger ... obsession ... all the gamut of emotions comes through clearly from her eyes; as much as we love the Winchesters, we know that many do not see them from our viewpoint.
I love the POV and what you did with it. She's a non-hunter, so she doesn't know what we know, but unlike most non-hunter's she's got that personal connection.
