Oh please. We moved here from Minnesota. There were weeks when the high was a negative number. You know what those crazy Norskies say: There is no bad weather. There is only inappropriate clothing. Once you taste their booze, you understand how they could believe that.

Oooh, ooh. I'll buy from you all that you're willing to carry back (& part with once you're back).

But you should confirm that you don't, like Persephone, have to spend a day in Skaneateles for every one you eat.

And don't listen to her. 23 is plenty cold (though it's a bit surprising, really, just how much colder -23 feels that +23. One's tempted to think there comes a point where it doesn't matter anymore and cold is cold, but it's not really true in my experience).

whatever they are, wherever she tried to turn around (and i bet had to drive five hundred miles to find the interstate again...) i'm willing to bet TWD and i have stopped there. i believe there's an Arby's. or perhaps a Wendy's. it depends on which town she stopped at.

Glad you made it Up There safely.

Please tell Emrys the children are asking for him.

I grew up in Minnesota and upstate New York, and there is a reason Dante has Satan presiding over the frozen circles of Hell.

Drive home safe, Lady.

There is actually a town named Hell in Michigan. I always figured they did that so they could talk about "a cold day in Hell" or "the day Hell froze over."
