Holy smokes. Huge accident-related backup on 95 South. 20 miles of parking lot. Oh my god. Added at least an hour and a half to the trip. Oof. That sucked.

Well, at least it's over. I'm checking mah emails at Cup A Joe's, where the wireless is free and the cookies are bigger than yer head. skivee is here, too, and plans to play guitar with me. Perhaps ( Read more... )

All I can say is thanks to whatever powers that nudged my brain yesterday I did NOT take water with me. Therefore I wasn't sitting there looking for the nearest portapottie.

By the time we got to the accident scene it had vanished but left the horrid backup in its wake.

Fri the 13th was madness all over.
495 was crazy...someone forgot that to transport a couch, it is generally necessary to tie down all cushions, so as they do not enter traffic.
I thus, clipped one on a ramp (good place to lose a couch cushion), causing a near pile up coming off Route 50.
Thank god it was a Friday, and thus, a party night.
