ads for the movies 'astroboy' and 'zombieland' on the same billboard. One promises to be the memorable b-grade horror movie hit of this half decade, while the other has zombies^W a wooden^Wmetal boy wanting to be real. With lasers. I will be disappointed if there aren't any frigging sharks. -

weather it matters
At some point I'd like to see a (tv) weather report series that consistently rated themselves on the accuracy of their prior predictions. Its one thing to claim that 'we are the most trusted source for weather', its another to tell your viewers how last week's predictions panned out.
Maybe I'm just watching the wrong channels. -

Watching the headless chicken routine of the media over jacko's death (the singer, not the footballer) was entertaining this afternoon. The outlets fell into two categories; ``he's dead (but we've got nothing to back this up with)'' and ``unconfirmed reports suggest that he might be dead, or at least in a coma''. Cool, the feeds from dailylit.com work nicely on this small device (android g1). Pity the battery life still sucks even when not using it as a phone.
The next step is to automagically have a possible feed for an ebook set up when its released via the Project Gutenberg feed. -
