So sorry for the late reply! There are definitely going to be more fics in this universe - I felt that the concept was too deep to be kept to one story (besides, we haven't even met Vampire!Aoi yet)! A Romeo and Juliet scenario is actually the perfect way to describe the vampire/hunter situation that these two find themselves in. They love each other, but they're on opposite sides of one of the longest wars in history - between vampires and hunters.
