New pictures!

I've uploaded a few new pictures to my gallery, a couple of kitty photos, and a couple of knitting photos. I have a lot of knitting that I still need to photograph and upload, but I'm very lazy, so we'll see when and if that ever happens

Beautiful scarf! I haven't ever really mastered anything beyond knit-purl-knit-purl... The scarf knitting is so delicate!

Dirty secret: If you can add yarn over and knit two together, you can do lace. The hard part comes in not messing up, because it can be hard to fix if you do. Branching out is a -great- starting lace pattern, too. Very simple, easy to memorize, but beautiful when it's done.

i arrived here via velvetpage. lovely scarf and colour. I keep considering that pattern, but the knitting is going quite slowly these days.

If you're wanting to get into lace, I highly recommend the pattern. Aside from being free, it's simple enough that it's a good starting pattern, but gives you a genuine "lace" look.
