I've uploaded a few new pictures to my gallery, a couple of kitty photos, and a couple of knitting photos. I have a lot of knitting that I still need to photograph and upload, but I'm very lazy, so we'll see when and if that ever happens.
In other photoshop news, I'm still learning new tricks with it. Recently, a video started making the rounds where someone takes a picture of a very overweight woman and messes with it until she looks almost like a model. I hunted around on the internet until I found a site where they were discussing how he did it, and now I can do it too. I can slim someone down, or make them fatter, or make their boobs bigger, or give them hips, or give them less hips. Also, I can give them more or less hair, add definition to the face, and so on. Combining this with my other skills, which include changing hair color (and, to some extent, even skin color), making someone look older or younger, and so on, I could, at this point, make a person look totally unlike themselves. I think that's pretty cool.
Anyway, here are the pictures.
Here's a closeup of the lace scarf that I did for my mother for last christmas. I think I did it in February, or thereabouts, last year. So I don't remember the details of it, really. It's Lorna's Laces Glory, and the pattern is
Branching Out from Knitty. I forget the needle size and the number of skeins that I used, though I think I might have done it on size 9 needles.
Here's a far-off view of the same scarf.
And... the kitty pics! This is Cordelia and don Francisco sitting on their big bed together. They usually don't do this -- usually one of them is on the top seat (which is their favorite, given that they are cats) and the other will go sleep somewhere else. We have twice as many cat beds as we have cats, so there's plenty of other places to sleep. But sometimes don Francisco gets clingy and wants to be near his Cordelia. So I came upstairs this morning, and this is what I saw.
And finally, don Francisco giving all the womens his sexxay bedroom eyes.
