Well, nickel and I are off on our big adventure to San Diego, where I hope to score some really nice yarn and a Sluggy Freelance book, and he hopes to score a job drawing comic books or game art. I'm fairly certain to get what I came for, he's less so ( Read more... )

Because you are a Good Kitty Mom, I'm sure you have this totally handled, but just in case -- do you need someone to peek in on the kitties while you're gone? Or are they going to Grandpa's house, or otherwise more than covered?

as a side note... Republic of tea has a really nice chamomile lemon tea (I think they call it surrender to sleep) that has skullcap valerian lavender and a few other things. It helps me because it relaxes my body to a point of letting me get better sleep and helping me sleep when in a bout of insomnia.

I'm not going :(

I asked for the time off, and didn't get it. We are currently feeding 300 troops every evening, and there's only me + one cook + one waitress. So, I really can't just blow them off.

Plus, I didn't get the paperwork in on time, and can't put art in the show.

Sigh.
