i didn't mean to waste your time

Ok, it's time to write. I've been feeling kinda out-of-sorts with my emotions lately. I don't really know what that means, but it's like I am unable to feel a wide range of emotions. I'm on mood-stablizers for being bipolar, but I think they are making me too stable. Does that make sense? And then there's the ongoing issue of feeling pathetic ( Read more... )

Man, it's like I'm reading an entry I would have written myself; I know exactly how you feel, about most if not all of that life stuff! The school, the meds (oh god, the meds), the writing! I feel stifled when I can't write, and I haven't been able to write properly for 3 years! It blows, doesn't it? Well, I give you a heartfelt "I know what you mean" and I really hope that things improve for you soon.

On a slightly related note, how did you get that au pair job in Wales again? I know you told me at some point, but my memory is failing me on the details. I really would like to get out of the country, no matter who is elected on Tuesday, haha.

*hugs!*

Thanks for the hugs. And I'm sorry "you know how I feel," because it's not the best feeling in the world! Haha.

And about the au pair job... go to www.greataupair.com It is a fabulous site that will take care of all your au pairing needs! haha I highly recommend getting out of the country for a while (especially if McCain gets elected!)

Laura,

Have you ever thought that after being medicated for 7 years, that you might be getting better? Since I've known you, and in comparison to previous entries, it seems to me that you're well on your way to becoming a genuinely happy person. Maybe you should see what happens if you speak to your psychiatrist about lowering your dosage. Maybe what you need are the natural ups and downs so that you can be properly swept away in emotion and that thrill of life again-- for the better of course.

I understand that school is a big issue, but I can't stress enough that you are doing so well and I'm proud of you. You are a fabulous student.

As for you and Emily.. Ehem. I know that she loves you unconditionally and will continue to make you feel loved while reminding you that it gets better everyday. And it does.

Please write more, especially when you feel so consumed, I think its when your best stuff comes out ;)

Always.
