You make a very good point. I'm starting to lean more and more towards Pitch and variations (my eldest brother already has a dog named Bunny, though to be fair he's had her since waaaay before the movie came out). Pitchiner K. Shadowjarson? Bit of a mouthful, and might get cramped on the dog tags, but I like it. Yeeees. And my dog will be an evil dog, herding ponies and spreading attack licks. Bwahahaha!
Training should always be done early. I've known some people who don't training beyond potty procedures, and those are always the last people you want to pet-sit for. Also, rudeness, and what if someone comes over who is afraid of dogs and then your dog comes up and starts sniffing/licking/jumping on them? No, training is going to be top priority. He shall be allowed on the couch, and my bed, but there will be no rampant licking, barking, or jumping on people, and if I say 'Kennel!' he will return to his box until time-out is over

Pony herding puppy! omg so cute. Also long name will teach yoru father to complain about you not doing dog names right.
Becareful with the kennel training, our puppy girl LIKES her bag.
And I'm writing it now, I'd work on Comicbook Heroes, but you know how it is when your fic gets eaten, you fold your arms, pout and sulk and don't write.
*sQueeeeee!!!!* I anxiously await fic. But until then, want to know something crazy awesome? We got ANOTHER puppy, bringing the grand total to six. Crazy, because this one popped out a whole FOUR DAYS after the rest, and awesome because he is ALIVE and WELL, eating properly and interacting with his brothers and sisters like nothing happened. Which was weird, because my dad got home and called up my mother, who was with me, and was all 'Ah, honey, how many puppies did we have again?'
I suspect the boy just wanted to be special and have a different birthday than all rest. Pull a Loki.

*flaffs around.*
Make sure you start training young! They are quiet and sweet and huggable that way.
BTW, was that Q loves a Challenge prompt trying to get me to do something?
