Today, I was inspired.

So I wrote a short song to be sung to the tune of 'I'm a Little Teapot'.

I'm a little doggy,
Short and Round.
Here is my tail and here is my Snout.

When I see a squirrel,
I run all about!
So you chase my lead while you scream and Shout!

I'm a little doggy,
long-legged and loud.
I behave for treats but only for now!

I'm suddenly curious what would happen if a magic plague or a bunch of hunters or some other plot device came through and wiped out all the really old, set-in-their-dominace-heirarchies vampires leaving only the baby vamps behind. I did a Dratini CrossStitch!  Hindsight says I should have moved the characters over a bit, but I was working with a 16ct. pattern on 14ct. fabric and mostly eyeballing it.  Turned out alright, I think.

Metalic Thread is a BITCH to work with, though.

My mother, who knows I love Loki and want his blue frosty babies, convinced me to go to the Movies with her for a double feature this past weekend. While I held her hand during Hunger Games: Catching Fire she let me cling to her arm during Thor: The Dark World. It was not what I was expecting.
