Loki has them right where he wants them, yes? Very clever twisting of truths: even though he was only with the Chitauri a short time, comparatively, it suggests he's been their puppet much longer... and using their control chip as a Makers Mark. Loki is crazy. Crazy like a fox!

Also, using the same arguments as Thor... feels.
