First proper post in ages due to business and illness (nothing major!). These are old japanese coins, the pictures and explanations and such of which can be found here:

The colour was mainly so the coins would look stylish, as well as for the fact that green is the exact opposite of red, which I would normally use with Gojyo. Trying for a break in tradition, I guess, though I would still love to hear what you thought the reason was!

I like that interpretation more than my own! So it's kinda like a 'how Hakkai sees Gojyo' spin on it... maybe a comment on his gambling, or how it was/is his only means of support, and what that says about his life before he met Hakkai... I'm liking this idea a lot! You're so smart ^___^
