Lemme tell you about my economics class.

I love Macalester, but Econ here isn't Econ in Uetz's class. An excerpt from the first chapter:

Hey spence, I'm reading a book called Profit over People by Chomsky, which is really good so far (I'm not far in) but it attacks/criticizes the neoliberals. Also, I think Mankiw is going to be my teacher for econ next year, so that isn't something I'm going to like. Some of these harvard bastards are only in econ to make money with investing.

My mom told me that Caitlin Harrington's mom told her that Caitlin (objection, perjury) only wanted to do medicine for the money. I told my mom I hope she fails.

to both Spencer and Krishna, I always enjoy hearing you guys talk about these things even if I don't really understand much. Someday I'll figure my own stuff out.

Let's go change the world.

When I read hedge funds, I was reminded of one of my favorite Onion articles http://www.theonion.com/content/news_briefs/neither_person_in

And I hope you continue to stick it to the man, it might have made you feel "awfully sour", but it gives me hope that the rest of the world is doing something. I have yet to see any man stick-age thus far and am beginning to realize how ignorant people can be....sorry for the ramble...pretty much just keep doing what you are doing and I'll be proud of you

Peace

Krishna wrote in my guestbook yonder ago "don't ever change, lawl (or maybe loal), jk, stay the same but change for the better."

That's the attitude I have towards college even though I'm not quite sure what better exactly means.

IS THERE REALLY A BETTER WAY TO LIVE LIFE?
this is the question that liberal arts students ask.

go philosophy majors. I'd actually probably be nihilistic if I wasn't Christian.
