oh my god I'm so mad. The boss at the kindergarten pulled me aside when I came in this morning, and told me I'm now teaching a different class. It's K2 instead of K1, and it's ESL instead of Pre-E, and I'm not allowed to say goodbye to the kids in my old class. My K1 (three-year-olds) apparently cried all day with the sub, because no one told them

That's so mean! Can you sneak in and say goodbye to your old classes somehow?

I asked Boss #2, and apparently the official cover story they give the kids and parents is that I'm "sick," and if I contradict them I'll get in some pretty serious trouble. So, uh, nope.

That sounds really tough. And completely illogical (with the not letting you say goodbye to the kids). The bit about being rewarded/punished for being a good teacher makes sense, but the particular *way* in which they went about it just sounds like a power trip! :/
