I remember in Smoke Damage, you had a line about how Dean would have to prep himself before a salt 'n' burn by playing with his lighter so he doesn't panic. I loved that line so much and I was like OH THAT SHOULD SO BE A FIC IN ITSELF. And then you wrote this which is what I was hoping for and MORE. :D

This was awesome, I especially loved the part when they were teens. You wrote self harm in a super convincing way when it comes to pre-series Dean, a lot of times I just don't buy it.

I'm so glad I fulfilled you fic-wish without even knowing about it. So many of those throw away lines in my fics are really just little shout-outs to my personal headcanon. Feel free to tell me when another one speaks to you like that and you want to see it. There is a decent chance I already have the story behind it filed away in the back of my mind.
