I went to the group yesterday. I had a long chat with James afterwards about how down I have been feeling. He said keep things simple, get the basics right of eating and sleeping, do enjoyable things and do things that make me feel accomplished.

Riswana Ben and her husband Saifu Bhai gave Mummy and I a lift to the reception. It was at Chiswick House, which is a gorgeous stately home in inner London.

On Sunday my mum, Sophia, Zabi and Naqiyah went to Maryam's mitishitabi and Sakina's 8th birthday shitabi. It was very nicely organised. They had a massive marquee in their garden. We went to Nottingham on the Saturday before last to take Aunty out for dinner for her birthday. She said she wasn't feeling up to it, so we got kebab. It was pretty extreme. I have received a copy of the diabetes consultant's letter. I had to look up some of the terminology and the number ranges. It basically says to increase my metformin from 1g twice a day to 1g three times a day, and to add 40mg of gliclazide. The gliclazide can go up to 160mg twice a day.
