Taking the Day Off Work

I don't know whether this is going to hit the international media or whatever, but we've had a bit of a rain disaster here lately, so I took the day off work because (a) it's not busy and (b) I couldn't face the commute.  Plus it rained cats and dogs all morning, and I just... didn't feel like it.

So I stayed home and bothered the cat:

I've seen stuff on the rains and the flooding, very impressive, I was wondering how you were fairing, stupid, LJ has been down a lot lately.
