vacation, all i ever wanted

Those of you who work full-time, just curious: how many paid days off do you get a year?

Now that I'm in my 5th year, I get 15 vacation days a year. News, production, and engineering departments also get another 8 days, to make up for the fact that we don't get conventional holidays off. Plus, everyone gets an extra "floating holiday." I'm not sure how many sick days I get on top of that, I think it's 10 or 15.

I think I have 180 hours plus a "floating holiday". I get all federal holidays off. I believe our sick days comes out of the same pool. We also get a certain amount of family care days (I want to say 10) and like volunteer time (like 4 hours a month, I think?)

i get 20 days a year and i just started with the company in July. i think that may increase slightly after you've been there 5 years, 10 years, etc, but the company was recently bought out so that may all change...and hopefully i won't be with this job that long!

the 20 days include vacation and sick days. and we get most bank holidays off.

I earn 4 hours of annual leave and 4 hours of sick leave every 2 weeks. In addition, I get all federal holidays off.

damn, I thought my company was pretty good, but now I see it's pretty average.

we get 10 days for the first three years, then 15 days after three years, and 20 days after 4 yrs, and 25 days after 10.

However, since we're private, I do a lot of negotiating, I just had my 5th anniversary and I'll be getting 25 days off this year.

We get 10 paid holidays. Depending on how well we've done for the year, they'll often give us a couple extra days between christmas and new years as a sort of bonus.

We can rollover unpaid leave, however, I rarely have any leave to rollover.

Yeah, that's the thing--I have a ton of time for vacation (read: tour) but not the money!!
