For Ritsuka, it's vision that takes the longest to return to him. He swallows, then opens his mouth to breathe, not unlike rousing back from a deep sleep, all groggy and dazed. Scent comes quickest. Horrifically gross and over bearing. And, that thumping of little heart makes his chest tight and uncomfortable.

"Hn," childish aggravated sound; he wants so much to sit up and get a handle on sensations, but they're sluggish. Plus, of course, he can't move. There's nothing rewarding about being able to move his neck, so he drops his head back down, unforgiving. Finally, when sight returns completely, he keeps it locked on the ceiling. It's a silly thing: trying to appear ( despite palpitating little chest ) aloof, because the long black tail lying out on the table has all its fur on end.

This is the loudest quiet of his life.

Animal times demand animal instincts. This holds especially true to Boston's population, each and every one of them captivated by some vice or another, or the most selfish of all core values - self-preservation. Very rarely did anyone in this city care about the people outside of their comfort zone; about the so-called Mutants - the Awakened - that continued to trickle into the Hub like a poisonous current of water that no one knew how to ebb the flow of. Then again, that was no surprise given how inherently self-absorbed humankind was as a whole. Some just hid their beastly sides better than others, playing the part of a man as an actor would wear a mask ( ... )

There are a few moments, while listening to the pair of feet draw closer, that Ritsuka's eyes slid shut. His little chest swells for a beat, then deflates. It does nothing to settle the most vital organ, though, nestled under fabric, skin, and brittle cage.

He can see the white of those ridiculous suits in his peripheral vision. The ceiling gets a glare. His tail swishes, unrelenting. However, it's the cover up of that voice that breaks his eyes away. They land right on him. Not wide. No pleading. No tears. Just a pair of fixed and staring purple eyes. It's, as best he can make it, a punishing, rebellious little look. 'You're a coward,' is what those fixated eyes are sharing, screaming, regardless of lip movement or any vocal punctuation ( ... )

For Prima, waking is but a jolt and flash of 'did I boot up correctly' then a slow systems body check. He can't move, at all, only is head. That sets off alarm bells, and he wonders if Megatronus has arrived, and if he tracked him down. Then that thought is banished from his mind. No. If the kindslayer murder betrayer his sibling had shown up, he'd know. This is -

The men in the black masks. That gas... Alphonse. The first forged twists his head this way and that, looking for the youngling - any sign of him at all. The fact that the youngling could be in this situation does worry him, a lot. He can't see much, and that worries him all the more. Not finding anything,. he draws in a deep, calming breath, focusing on the motions that the body goes through.

Sadly, Prima doesn't realise that his eyes are glowing that eerie, ethereal glow. He thinks he has his emotions under control. He doesn't realise how angry he is over the whole debacle.

Al was groggy as he slowly came to, thinking that he just might be back home in bed. Then he tried to move his body and when that didn't work, he knew that Ed had been right about this whole thing. Bad idea. Really bad idea going to this party.

The ten year old took in a deep breath to keep calm, brain thinking as fast as it could. Some gas made you fall unconscious, so that was probably what had happened. It would also explain why he couldn't move his body. That, or he'd been injected with someone else. He couldn't be sure.

He tried hard to move a limb, lift a finger, anything, straining and straining but in the end, all he could do was just lie there. His fright was slowly starting to turn into terror but he fought it back. Freaking out wouldn't help him now and it might just draw someone's attention to the fact he was now awake. He wasn't sure if he wanted that or not, being in the situation he was in ( ... )
