Is it just a creepy forest, or is it a swampy land, a desert, an island? Is it filled with dead angels and demons, or just things like dragons, shapeshifters, and djinn? What's it like to be on the outside, trying to break in to Purgatory - or on the inside, trying to break out?
The goal of this comment meme is to explore all of that and more!
Before we get started, a few rules:
1. Your prompts and fills MUST somehow relate to Purgatory. They can focus on, say, the aftermath of being in Purgatory; however, Purgatory needs to be a central element.
Examples:
Good: Sam/Dean After a particularly bad nightmare about Purgatory, Dean breaks down and talks to Sam about what happened there. Schmoopy lovings ensue.
Bad: Sam/Dean Sometime after Purgatory, Sam and Dean do it in a diner.
Also, as is implied, your story doesn't need to be physically set in Purgatory. So if you want to prompt, say, Sam searching for Purgatory and missing Castiel's warm, loving embrace, that would be fine so long as his search for a way to rescue Castiel and Dean was central to the story. If you wanted to request Sam where he thinks once that he misses having Castiel around, and then goes to buy a catnip pillow for his new kitten, that doesn't really fit.
If any clarifications are needed, you can either comment here or PM the mod account!
2. Edit while I'm unfortunatly not able to make subject lines available, I would really appreciate it if you put the following at the top of your comment: If you're prompting something, use "Request: [keywords]." If you're filling something, use "Filled: [Title, pairings, rating, part number]." While I'm not mean enough to go around deleting prompts that don't fit these specifications, it makes my job a lot easier, and it makes me love you all the more <3
3. All pairings are welcome, as is gen. All mediums are welcome, but it's okay to specifiy if you'd rather have an art fill.
4. Prompts with dark themes are welcome. However, if you know that your prompt/fill contains content that could be triggering or upsetting (non-con, character death, etc.) please warn for it.
5. Prompts based on specific spoilers for Season Eight are allowed. However, you must either warn for spoilers or spoilercut/highlight your text. Prompts that do not do this will be deleted.
To clarify this: speculation on what will happen in Season Eight is allowed; if you think that that it's going to consist entirely of Anna and Ruby fighting Leviathans in Purgatory, then by all means prompt that. However, if you want to write about Dean's interactions with, say, a new character who we only know about from spoilers, that needs a warning.
6. Lastly, and this should go without saying, but -- no character/pairing/what-have-you bashing. Be civil to each other.
