Who: Riku, Kairi, and eventually Hojo.
When: Um… between late last night/early this morning to this evening possibly? Sometime after Kairi gets done arguing with Roxas, at least.
Where: The ‘not-so common’ streets as I was told.
Rating: PG-ish.
Warnings: I’m guessing some slight creepiness, since Hojo’s there. But… some definite cute stuff between ( Read more... )

Riku was able to pull her back up, face set in a perfect frown. He hadn't told Kairi about his conversation with Roxas, instead, leaving it untouched. It would heal, and that jab about Maleficent and DiZ was just uncalled for, anyway. He should've made a crack about emotions, but... not even Riku would stoop that low, not to the blonde. He looked down at Kairi, a gentle smile coming across his lips.

"Hey, you had every right to tell him off," he said quietly. "I would've gone off too, no matter what," and he had. Riku almost winced at that, but knew that he couldn't take it back. "Hey, make sure you don't fall. It's not very graceful to fall face flat onto the ground." Riku teased, nudging her slightly. A few more moments passed by as they spent their time walking, the silver-haired teen looking up to the sky. It had been late night when they set out; the sky hadn't changed a bit. "It's... actually pretty nice out here, even though it's dark..."

Kairi pouted cutely at Riku when he scolded her for almost falling, before giving him a punch on the arm. She knew it wouldn't really hurt him, no matter how hard she hit him. She didn't have much upper body strength she knew, and besides. Those muscles of his could protect his arms from quite a bit of damage. "Hey, it's not my fault I've been stuck thinking about the whole thing for forever. I'm so tired. But...it really bothers me, being on bad terms with Roxas like this."

Looking up when Riku did (and clinging to his arm to make sure she didn't stumble again), a small smile spread across her lips. "It is." Then she involuntarily shivered as a slight breeze whipped through the air. "But it's still too cold for me," she muttered distastefully, more as an afterthought than anything. Although she was wearing the sweater Claire let her borrow, it was still a bit chilly to her.

Riku mimicked a quiet 'ow', putting a hand over where she hit him in the shoulder. "If you're really that tired, why are we still out here?" he joked slightly, before shaking his head. His eyes went down again. "... I guess it would bother you. I'm used to it, a lot of the time. After all, I'm pretty sure Roxas wanted Axel in my place, when he had to hang out with me as Sora. It's probably pretty bad, having to do that..."

He snorted slightly. "Of course it'll be too cold. We grew up on tropical islands. It's not like we ever saw any snow," he stated. He platonically pulled her closer, sharing his warmth with her.

"Because we have nothing else better to do, that's why," the redhead replied playfully. Her eyes were downcast when he continued on about Roxas, and she simply nodded. She had never intended to make enemies with anyone, least of all Roxas. And even if they weren't exactly enemies, the fact that he was upset with her bothered her extremely.

Smiling back up at at Riku, she snuggled into his side a little more, trying to soak up as much warmth as possible from the older teen.
