Great.
Why was it so hard to get to a clock tower that was so strikingly obvious? Not only that, but Ayame was meeting him there..Ayame who would most definitely transform if left waiting too long.
So why did he have to pick now to get lost?

At least as he moved through the streets, making vague progress towards said meeting place, at least the monsters lurking in the dark were leaving him alone. Haru was not one to openly admit that his martial arts were not well..as good as they could be, but he knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to take on any of those creatures.
And if something went wrong- well something couldn't go wrong, now that the God was here.

Glancing up at the tower again, Haru let out a sigh of relief, for without a doubt the building had gotten closer. But so had something else.
A creature, right in the middle of the street, right in front of him. Blocking his path.
Haru froze, unsure as to what to do. Forget Ayame, he was in more trouble here.

The large clock tower loomed in the distance, but getting to it was harder than Marco had initially thought. This place was a labyrinth. He had been sniffing around for a good few minutes trying to get the scent of anything, but all he could smell was ash and decay. He was beggining to get frustrated.

He'd come across some of the more....interesting, and dangerous of Purg's creatures. He'd had a few close calls that day. Which made it even more dangerous, especially because of the two-hour morph limit.

The was a noise at his right had him on guard in an instant. A young man was standing a few yards away from him, his eyes wide and his pace pale.

And he was looking right at Marco.

Well, this would be interesting.

Was the wolf...staring back at him?
Well, that hadn't been the most shocking part. As part of the Sohma family, Haru was quite used to animals staring at him, but only those that belonged to the Chinese Zodiac. A wolf was completely different.

Ah well. He wasn't growling yet, perhaps he'd let the ox just walk on by.
It was the only option for Haru really, if he turned around and tried to go a different way, who knew how long he'd be lost for. Cautiously, Hatsuharu began to make his way forward, refusing to avert his gaze from the creature in front of him.

The initial shock had passed, and his expression had once again become emotionless. If he panicked it would all be over.

Macro watched the boy cautiously approach him. He wondered if he should just let him pass and then follow him so he could find his way to that tower.

Maybe he should talk to him? Thought-speak was easy in this form, but he woried that the boy would freak on him.

So he opted for the first option, whuffing at him and shaking his head before back to sniffing the ground. But there was a scent about the boy that the wolf part of his mind didn't quite like.... He made a curious sounding whine and looked back at the boy, head cocked to the side and ears pricked up.

Jake was stalking towards the tower, grumbling to himself under his breath. He was cold, half naked and barefoot, and he felt ridiculously stupid for not wearing his morphing outfit to bed like he usually did. No, he had to go and tell himself that the rampant paranoia that had gotten him through the war was just silly in a time of peace. No one was going to attack him in the middle of the night. No one was going to teleport him to some strange world where video game characters were real, or anything else like that.

He made a mental note to see if he could find some spandex shorts or something and picked up the pace of his walk.

Marco stopped for a moment after leaving Ayame and Haru to demorph and morph back to wolf. He was going to be tired later, but that scent was fading fast in the cold air. It was so familiar except he could put his finger on it.

Fully morphed now, he continued on his way, following the scent.

Jake was cold. He had finally made it to the tower, but he couldn't feel his feet, and he was pretty his still had his ears, though he couldn't feel those either.

Stupid cold. Stupid pants. Stupid stupid stupid.

He was getting closer to the tower, that he knew for certain. So was the scent. He turned a corner and entered the courtyard that held the clock-tower. Finally! It was about da---

Marco skidded to a stop. There was a young man standing there in only pajama pants and hugging himself to keep warm. It almost looked like....

If Marco hadn't been in morph, his jaw would've dropped open. That scent was--

<....Jake? JAKE!! >

"Harruuuu~!" the loud cheerful voice rang out suddenly behind Haru and the wolf. And there Ayame stood, clad in a thick coat (with many layers underneath) and silver hair braided back. It was as if all around Ayame were sparkles and flowers- he tended to live in his own reality sometimes.

"Never fear, for I am here!" Ayame declared dramatically to them before giggling happily. "Have you found a pet as well, Haru?" the snake inquired, looking at he wolf with interest.

Hatsuharu didn't even need to turn around to know who was coming. Even in the freezing weather the air around him seemed to get warmer, and looking at the snow he almost expected to see daisies poppies through the sleet.

Sliding his left foot back, Haru directed his attention back over his shoulder, expression remaining emotionless as he eyed Ayame; a mesh of extravagant colours, frilly layers and silver hair. Of course, Haru was hardly moved by this entrance, and was more suprised that Ayame was still in his human form.

"Ayame...You didn't have to come. I was on my way there, but seemed to have lost my way amongst the unfamiliar buildings and dying light.."
Another pause, to consider how likely Ayame was to buy his excuse, and to think over his inquiry. "Pet? Dunno...he just followed me here."

Ayame wore many layers under his coat to protect against the cold so he would not transform in the cold. But he gave Haru a large smile, almost seeming to just project sparkles and happiness.

"But I came anyway! Besides, it's getting dark...darker and I don't think you want to get even more lost!" Ayame waved aside Haru's words easily. "Besides, it gives me some time to update you on things here!" he added cheerfully. Even Purgatorium could mot damper Ayame's spirits.

"Hmm...well you're here now..i guess we can go then."

But before he could move, Marco cut in, reminding the Jyuunishi that he was still there. He was impatient to get back to the family (suprisingly) but after getting the wolf lost, it wouldn't be too much to lead him to the Tower..especially if it was on the way.

"Oh..This is Ayame, he's my cousin. Ayame," a gesture back to Marco, "this is..." And at that point, he realised that introductions had not yet been made between them. He stared blankly at the creature for a moment, trying to recall whether a name had been dropped.
'..What's your name?"
