Summary: Yazoo's pissy that Cloud is watching over Kadaj's dead body, but he at least fetches Loz and goes to check on Mother to ensure she's all right.

She felt him coming, more than she really saw or heard him, and her chin went up slightly at the quiet scuffing of a door sliding across the floor as it was opened. All around her, outside the cage, there was blood everywhere, hard to miss -- both Lucrecia's and Jean's, and there were even small splatters of pink up along the glass. All things considered, Jenova wasn't typically a type of person (or thing, really) who did much when these sorts of things happened. But, ah, it had been different during the fight. With everything that had been going on, and with all the noise, and with all of her children, so loud, all together, fighting, and it wasn't what she had wanted ( ... )

"I know." His own weariness was apparent, and he bowed forward until his forehead touched to the glass. Death would have almost been easier, he'd thought earlier. It would have left him without the injuries all over his body, without the ache in his joints and the throbbing headache at the forefront of his skull. The coolness of the glass helped ease that feeling somewhat, though he would have liked to think it was merely Jenova's presence that did it.

"I'm sorry, Mother. I wasn't able to help either of them, but..." Lashes lowering, Yazoo's eyes flicked over to his brother's prone form nearby. "...I swear, I'll bring you Hojo's head. He's making a fool of you." Because he knew. He knew that this disaster was nothing of what she wanted, and he knew Hojo's mere existence was the reason for so many of their problems. It needed to end, and even if it meant working alongside ShinRa, Yazoo was determined to ensure that it happened.
