Summary: Yazoo's pissy that Cloud is watching over Kadaj's dead body, but he at least fetches Loz and goes to check on Mother to ensure she's all right.
There was a significant irritation that Yazoo felt when he attempted to gather both of his brothers' corpses to keep to himself until they woke. But Cloud got to Kadaj first, and when the only living member of the trio entered the room where all the dead lay, he stared at 'nii-san' for a long moment, glaring furiously at the man's turned back as Cloud was keeping close to both Lucrecia and Kadaj.
Instead, he slipped silently over to Loz in the corner, crouching down slowly and touching a gloved hand to the larger boy's chest. Regardless of how impermanent death was there, this was... not a way he ever, ever wished to see his brother. It made his chest ache in a way that was unfamiliar and that he wasn't certain he liked at all, and for a few minutes he remained as he was, head bowed and fingers brushing absently over Loz's leather-clad shoulders and touching once, ever so briefly to his face.
Eventually Cloud's mere presence in the room grew to be too much, however. Yazoo stood, and (with some significant effort), he gathered Loz up. One of the larger male's arms was drawn around his shoulders, and he somehow managed to drag the heavy figure out of the room. Cloud had glanced up, but he said nothing to stop him. The thought certainly occurred to Yazoo that this would be the prime opportunity to escape the building. Grab Jenova and just flee into the night while everyone was distracted. Someone might have tried to stop him, but it was nothing he couldn't handle now that he had Velvet Nightmare back. (For how long he had it was a question that was up in the air. Surely once Rufus ShinRa showed up, he'd order them locked back up and his weapons removed again.)
But not attempt at escape was made. He didn't want the added trouble, and he certainly didn't want to venture too far from Kadaj if he could help it. Yazoo instead brought Loz through a few of the rooms there in the basement, following his senses immediately to her. She was still imprisoned, and he wasn't certain if anyone had made the attempt to break her out or not. There was an access code required to open the door to her glass cell that Yazoo, of course, did not possess, and shy of breaking the glass there was no way to physically get in to Jenova.
Carefully, he eased Loz down to the floor, propping him up with his back to their Mother's cell and straightening up.
"Mother..."
His hands lifted, pressed to the glass, fingers splayed out and leaving smudges of blood in their wake.
"Are you unharmed?"
