Summary: Miroku goes to meet Kakashi to borrow some of the Icha Icha books that Kakashi recommended.

Following Kakashi's directions, Miroku began making his way to the junk yard that the ninja had described

Kakashi paused and looked thoughtful. "Maa... Is this 'Sango' here as well? Because the author prefers, if possible, hands-on research. However, there are times that he'll have to settle for research from afar." Rubbing his chin and thinking some more, he continued, "Or perhaps you have a picture? Although to him, nothing beats the real thing..."

Miroku shook his head and frowned. "Sango isn't here, as far as I know. And even if she were, I don't like the sound of this hands-on research of his. The only one who is allowed to touch her is me. And even then, I still get hit." He sighed as he recalled all the times he had groped her and was promptly smacked or hit with her huge wooden boomerang.

"If only I had a picture. But I could describe her to him, if he likes." Miroku paused as well, thinking about something. "So, you mean to tell me that in order to write these books of his, he researches real women? How does he go about his research then?"

Kakashi scratched the back of his head and answered, "Well, he researches the women while researching and investigating other things. He's surprisingly thorough, although others would beg to differ." After a little more thought, he continued, "Maa, even if you had a photo, I doubt that it would be enough for him. He'd probably want to meet her at the very least."

Turning to the monk, he asked, "Oh, still reading?"

"Hm, do you think you could ask him for me if I could possibly help him research? I would love to meet as many young women as I can." Perhaps one of them would agree to bear his child.

Miroku looked back down at the book and nodded. "Yes, it is quite a lengthy book but very enjoyable. Am I reading too slowly?"

"I guess I could ask him for you. He probably won't think you're as bothersome as Naruto, at least." Kakashi smirked at envisioning the monk and his mentor doing research together, but he had the feeling that Miroku might come on kind of strong and somewhat overt, which might ultimately lead Jiraiya into deciding that Miroku was a distraction. But if Miroku was willing to learn and change? That might be a different story.

Kakashi shook his head. "Ah, I was just wondering. Sometimes I get into the books so much that I re-read pages as I go along, so maybe you're doing it too."
