Kakashi had immersed himself in re-reading the supposedly new Icha Icha book he'd found shortly after his arrival in Purgatorium. It definitely didn't seem like something that Naruto would've written, but Jiraiya had made Kakashi question its authenticity. He sighed and shook his head, reminding himself that he should bring the book to Jiraiya to ask whether it really was the next one in the series.

Upon hearing his name, Kakashi jumped down from a mountain of junk yard 'treasures', mainly consisting of car doors and other metal beams. From behind another pile of junk, he glanced out and saw the monk awaiting him. He walked out from his hiding place. "Yo!"

Miroku turned in the direction of Kakashi's voice and lifted a hand, bowing his head slightly in greeting.

"Hello there, Kakashi." He straightened up again, glancing around the place once more. "So, this is where you stay. It doesn't look very comfortable but I suppose there really isn't a comfortable place around here, is there?"

Kakashi chuckled. "In a place like this, comfort would be an indulgence." He turned and looked at the vast collection of broken but reusable items. "But at least it's convenient to have found a place like this; anything that's just broken can still be fixed or reused, after all." He paused in thought for a while before continuing, "Ah, you said that you found a place without walls? Well--I'm part of the rebuilding crew here... Figured that I might as well do some work around here as well as investigate means of escaping this place. I haven't come across anything in regards to escaping, though. But if you need a place to stay, and preferably one that isn't an obvious target for attack, you could either stay here or I'll help you take some materials and try to make something of them."

"It would indeed, especially since we are supposedly supposed to be repenting." Miroku grinning in response. He lowered his staff to poke at some of the junk lightly, so as not to disturb the pile. "Hm, yes. It was the first place I could find with an actual roof. I suppose if I wandered around some more, I could actually find a building that has walls as well. It just seems that a lot of them look ready to collapse at any moment. Where do you think is a good place to stay?"

"Hmmm..." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "We're still clearing out some areas, but I think some have undergone reparations of sorts. It didn't help that part of the Upper Level fell and destroyed things, though. I personally like it here--the junk yard has its advantages." He nodded at the last thought.

Then, there was a glint in Kakashi's one eye. "Ahhh.... but you came here to borrow -insert pause for effect as he whips out Icha Icha Paradise- THIS, is it not?" Suddenly it was as if Kakashi was very animated. "Here! Feel free to read it right here and now if you wish. I recall that when I first read it, I could hardly put the book down~" He thrust the book into Miroku's hands and waited expectantly for a reaction.
