Not my best effort, but...

I did a DITL on Sunday. We planted our garden, but I neglected to take photos of it.
Here's what we have growing:
sunflowers,
1 hill of pumpkins
onions and leeks
1 whole row of kale
1 row of lettuce
cauliflower
broccoli
carrots
fennel
pepper
buttercup squash
tomatoes
herbs: basil, oregano, sage, rosemary, thyme, and parsley

Enjoy John Ball! They have a great aquarium. The rest of teh zoo is ok but the cages are soooooo tiny :(. I can't go there very often because I feel badly for the animals.

Check out the Children's Museum if you have the time. It's right down town.

We're meeting a friend of mine I think next week to go to Spicers!

Oh, sad. I hope that the animals at least 'look' happy while we're there! We have a bunch of time Saturday before the wedding, so maybe we'll head to the children's museum! Then we were going to do the zoo and maybe the beach on Sunday before heading home.

Spicers is awesome. They have a new wine tasting room that we visited last fall after going to the pumpkin patch.

The museum has a new Curious George exhibit too! It starts tomorrow. If you check the website you can see pics. It looks great. The farm exhibit is pretty cool too. Upstairs they have a whole area dedicated to bees. Oh I just love that place. He he he. Have fun!!! It sounds like a packed weekend but GR has so much to offer; you'll have a great time!
