That was a great start and totally distracted me from the rest of the story for a minute.

Poor Ryan throwing yourself at someone's feet and being rejected is the most mortifying thing that can happen. Fortunately he has Chad to help him get over it even if he doesn't know it yet.

I know I feel SO bad for Ryan! He ran headlong into that train wreck, but still, it hurt to watch.
