Graduate School Weeks 4/5
Ugh, I'm hitting a bit of an emotional wall. Pat was going to come out next week because he has a new job with Elliance and that's great. But it turned out to be too expensive and too hard on his financials with the new pay schedule. Graduate School Week 2/3: The Thesis!
So I think I've sorted out my thesis topic! And it got rave reviews from my professor. It turns out that I might actually be doing research that no one has done before! Graduate School Week 1
So far, so good. Then again, I didn't have any lectures. We had a conference where people gave papers, and some of them were a real snooze...or rather, the subject was good, but they had little to no public speaking skills, which is hard. Student Visa Stress is Over!
I GOT MY STUDENT VISA!
I got approved for my student visa today :). I'm so excited...now there's no barriers to me going. It is two months to the day till I'm there. Hooray! -
This is really going to happen!
Let me preface this by saying I work a boring job. I work a 10.5 hour shift as a lifeguard at an apartment complex. My day consists of running on the treadmill, watching bad daytime TV, reading wedding magazines/ doing wedding planning and making a lame attempt at brushing up on my art history.
