"And this was my room." Miranda said, stopping at the closed door, taking a deep breath before pushing said door open.

When Miranda stepped into the room her childhood flashed before her eyes. She honestly never thought she would be back here ever again hence why it had taken her so long to bring Andrea to this house.

Andy looked around the room. "You weren't kidding when you said your childhood room was tiny." she softly said. The room was like the room Harry Potter had to sleep in under the staircase, but was a tad longer in length.

Spreading her arms out Andy could practically touch the walls with both hands. She had seen the other bedrooms coming down to this end room and they were much bigger than Miranda's.

"Goes to show where the favourtism was, doesn't it?" Miranda murmured as she sat down on the bed which was still the same old bed she used to sleep in and it was just as uncomfortable as she remembered it to be.

"I don't know what to say." Andy replied shaking her head.

"Neither do I." Miranda commented, and the bed dipped a little when Andrea sat next to her, her lovers hand coverings hers in her lap. "It was an incredibly shitty childhood. Now you can understand why I don't like talking about it."

Andy nodded. "Definitely." she responded, and a small smile tugged her lips when Miranda rested her head on her shoulder. "I hate that you grew up the way you did."

Miranda let out a shaky breath, and found all the emotions of her childhood and facing her old room, came pouring out.

Hearing Miranda sniffling and knowing her lover was crying Andy held her lover tightly.
"I don't even know why I'm crying. I was so sure I had gotten over this years ago." Miranda said, and wiped at her eyes. "I'm sorry I'm getting all sooky."

"You don't have to apologise to me, babe." Andy whispered, kissing the side of her fiancée’s forehead.

Miranda nodded, and her eyes fluttered. "I'm so tired."

They were supposed to head back to the hotel, but none of them could be bothered.
"We could easily make this bed work." Andy commented.

Miranda snorted. "This shall be interesting." she responded, not dismissing the idea just yet.

"Get yourself as comfy as you can, I'm gonna go pee." Andy said, kissing Miranda's cheek before standing and making her way out of the tiny room.

Walking into the bathroom she relieved herself quickly before walking back down to the other end of the hall way, but this time stopping to browse the photos that lined the walls. Her heart sank when she saw two photographs that had old pictures of Miranda in them, ones she had already been shown, and right down the end closer to Miranda's old room was where the newer pictures they had taken back in 2009 up until the last time they saw each other hung on the wall. They weren't proudly on display like the rest and Andy was not okay with this at all.

Marilyn might say she's happy to have Miranda back in her life, and sure she's treating Miranda the way her fiancée shoulder be treated, but Andy still couldn't be sure if Marilyn could be trusted. She didn't know what the other woman could be saying about her lover and even herself when their backs were turned. She knew it was the right thing to still have her concerns about Marilyn. She needed to have her eyes open and ready for signs that Marilyn was going to strike like she's heard from the stories to protect her lover from being hurt again.

Sighing Andy walked into Miranda's old room, softly closing the door behind her, and switched off the light and kicked off her shoes and took off her jeans and sweatshirt and carefully got down into the bed, mindful to not her lover, and slowly settled herself behind her lover, her back against the concrete wall.

"You aren't comfortable, are you?" Miranda asked a few seconds later, breaking the silence of the room.

"This is quite cosy, actually." Andy responded, their bodies pressed firmly together, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. She draped her arm over Miranda's body and her lover held said hand against her lover’s stomach.

"Mmm, it is." Miranda whispered. "Had someone told me a decade ago that I would be back here in my old room laying in bed with a female lover I would have laughed at how absurd that sounded."

Andy chuckled at Miranda's words.

"But now I'm forever grateful to have you by my side, and for you to be with me in this old room that I haven't stepped foot in since I was fifteen years old." Miranda added.

"I'm glad it's me you're with, and not someone else, also." Andy replied, kissing the back of Miranda's neck.

"I'm rolling over." Miranda murmured, giving Andrea warning, before rolling onto her back, accidentally pushing Andrea further into the wall as her lover hissed. "I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?"

"No." Andy breathed. "The walls just really cold."

"Oh." Miranda said.

"But it's alright. I'll warm up soon." Andy said.

"We can get another blanket and put it behind you." Miranda said, and began to sit up.
"No, it's okay." Andy said, pulling Miranda back down. "I'm comfortable just like this."

Miranda rolled onto her right side and stared at Andrea in the dim lighting of the room thanks to the lone lamp in the corner. "Thank you for being you." she whispered a couple seconds later.

Andy laughed softly.

"You're amazingly wonderful, never forget that." Miranda added.

"With you by my side constantly telling me this fact I definitely will never forget." Andy murmured.

"Good." Miranda replied, kissing Andrea.

"I love you." Andy whispered.

Miranda smiled, heart fluttering. "I love you too."

"We better try and get some sleep or else the Easter bunny won't come." Andy said.

Miranda snorted, but closed her eyes. "We can't have that now. We all know how much you love your chocolate."

"Oi!" Andy replied, nudging Miranda who simply chuckled. "Says the one who has a secret Cadbury chocolate stash in the kitchen."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Miranda said, sniffing, and feigning a confused tone. She kissed Andrea again who firmly kissed her in response.

A few seconds later they stopped kissing and both sighed as they again closed their eyes.
"See you in the morning." Andy whispered.

"Yes, good night, darling." Miranda whispered.

"Good night." Andy said, and the room fell silent, and after a few seconds they were both sleeping, both hoping they wouldn't have any ridiculous nightmares.

5:45AM.

“He’s been, he's been!" Daniel yelled excitedly as he jumped onto the single sized bed, right onto Andy's legs.

Andy woke with a hiss. "What the hell?" she asked groggily, groaning in pain, just as she saw Daniel sitting on her legs and staring at the both of them with wide and excited eyes. "Hey there, little guy." she sleepily said, rubbing her eyes.

"The Easter Bunny has been!" Daniel said. "Mommy said I can't peak yet."

"its bad luck to peak." Andy responded as she leaned forward and took the boy off her legs which were starting to hurt after having him jump on them even more as Miranda slowly sat up beside her.

"The Easter Bunny came Grandma!" Daniel said excitedly.

"Are you going to have a chocolate breakfast?" Daniel asked the both of them, still not sure how to pronounce chocolate properly causing Andy to giggle.

Miranda smiled. "I won't, but I'm sure Andrea will join you!" she replied excitedly as she poked the little boy and began tickling him.

Daniel began squealing with laughter as he fell down onto both Andy and Miranda's laps.

"Mummy, mummy!" Daniel yelled when Rebecca walked into the room.

"Hey, bug." Rebecca sleepily said.

"Someone looks like a zombie." Andy said laughingly.

"Still not used to these early mornings?" Miranda asked, as she picked Daniel up so he was standing on his small feet, as he bounced up and down excitedly holding his arms out for his mummy.

"Not at all." Rebecca replied, stepping closer and reaching out for Daniel. "I don't know if I ever will get used to it."

Miranda chuckled. "Oh, it will become second nature soon enough." she replied and at her words her niece groaned.

"Come on, let's go check out what the Easter Bunny brought you!" Rebecca said even though she didn't think there was any point because she and Gavin didn't have enough money to get their son much.

Miranda slowly stood from the bed, a couple bones cracking causing her to cringe at the noise and at the tell-tale signs that she was getting older whereas Andrea on the other hand stood up on the bed and walked across said bed to the end and jumped down onto the carpeted floor. Her young lover lithe and flexible as ever. How Miranda missed those young days. She watched as Andrea held out a hand for her and she took it.

"I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they see the dining room." Andy excitedly said, pulling on Miranda's hand.

Miranda smiled. "It will be wonderful." she replied as she and Andrea had packed the table with lots of chocolate and there was a Easter Egg Chocolate hunt in the lounge room that led outside. Daniel Junior was going to have a field day. She took a deep breath before entering said dining room with the usual feeling of sadness and anger of having to be spending yet another Holiday without Caroline.
