Earthquake!!

OMG we had an earthquake around 4:30 this morning! It woke me straight up out of bed.

I woke up out of a sound sleep because the bed was shaking. When I was first waking up I thought the bed was shaking because an intruder was hopping into my bed, so I screamed and shot straight up. Once I got my eyes open I realized that there was no intruder (

Yes! Of course I was at work, many stories up in the air. Which made it seem a little scarier...

That's so scary! And one of the *only* reasons I never moved to San Fran. OMG, I don't even know what I would have done.

It's no surprise really. The Midwest is sitting on a fairly major, although rarely active, fault line. The last time I remember any movement was around junior high. Wait, I think there was a slight quake when I was in Arkansas, come to think of it. I ended up sleeping through it.
