Everyone is excited about Halo 3. Apparently it is amazing, thrilling even the detractors at Penny Arcade. And while I cant say Ive played it, Im more excited for this:

I'm with you approximately 115% -- realism only gets you so much credit these days. Taking it in a direction like cell-shaded cartoony graphics is bold, but quite appropriate. TFC was always about gameplay anyway -- as I recall, it was rather homely in its day.
