They must have them, but I was unable to learn what they were. I was only told that the fire was caused by a lightning bolt and put out by the rain. The Pokémon that revived them then came from the other tower and disappeared after that.
"Years and years ago, there were two towers in Ecruteak. But one day, the western tower was hit by lightning and burned until the rain extinguished it, killing three Pokémon. So a rainbow-colored Pokémon descended from the eastern tower and revived the three, before leaving for lands unknown."
I'm summarizing, but that's the essential part of it. There are also mentions of another Pokémon from the western tower, but I've yet to find out more about it.
I can see that. I've already found two Antidotes and a Revive, all of them in perfect working order. You would think people would be more careful with their belongings.
Some of it can be rather expensive, too. [His hand comes out from behind a rock, holding an Ultra Ball.] Over two hours of work, wasted like this. What were they thinking?
You're accumulating quite the collection. Where did you find all of these?
Most chests were easy enough to get, even without chocobos. But sometimes they would hide items in their forests, and they were more likely to let us take them if they already knew us.
Chocobos didn't have forests in Gran Pulse, but they would always point somewhere if we got close to a chest. If we let them do as they wanted, they'd dig things up for us.
I did find a few items on the road, but this tower is particularly full of abandoned objects, for some reason.
That sounds useful. Though it makes me wonder how exactly they knew about the chest's or the buried object's presence. Did they seem interested by your equipment or your supplies?

Those are the basics, at least. There were also mentions of another Pokémon at the top of the western tower, and of a link between the elements that destroyed the tower and the Pokémon killed in it. But I've not been able to learn names, sadly.
[France frowns, scribbling down Cecil's words and then staring at them.]
It's almost like a legend... But I don't know why Hell would have legends. I wouldn't have thought the Devil would have use for cultural building blocks.

[You will see that Cooper's interested face is on. And hey, a tower with a legend in it must be almost as good as the library he didn't find, right?]

[He mulls this over for a second.] That's definitely interesting, thank you. I take it names or descriptions of these pokémon are missing?

Did you use chocobos to find chests too?

Would you be so kind as to share more information on what you've found?
