Говорят, что "person A", с которым общался ван дер Зваан - это Килимник.

Weissmann said the defendant made a series of false statements to prosecutors during a November 2017 interview. Van Der Zwaan pleaded guilty to falsely claiming his last conversation with Gates occurred in mid-August 2016 and that his last conversation with an unnamed “Person A” occurred in 2014. In his plea, Van Der Zwaan admits that he in fact spoke with Gates and Person A in September 2016 about the report and possibility that Skadden, Manafort, and a former Ukrainian minister could face criminal charges related to the report.
Person A, who Weissmann said lives largely in Ukraine, appears to be Konstantin Kilimnik, Manafort’s longtime business associate in the country.

У Мюллера готовы новые обвинения против Манафорта и Гейтса. Обвинительные заключения пока что запечатаны.

New charges have been filed in special counsel Robert Mueller's criminal case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and aide Rick Gates, but the charges were put under seal by the court, obscuring the nature and import of the development.
The new charging document filed in federal court in Washington could be a superseding indictment, adding new charges or even new defendants to the charges filed against Manafort and Gates last October. The pair were accused of money laundering and failing to register as foreign agents for their work related to Ukraine, among other crimes.

Расследуется случай о том, как Манафорт упрашивал знакомого банкира дать ему кредит, обещая за это местечко в Белом доме.

Federal investigators are probing whether former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort promised a Chicago banker a job in the Trump White House in return for $16 million in home loans, two people with direct knowledge of the matter told NBC News.
Manafort received three separate loans in December 2016 and January 2017 from Federal Savings Bank for homes in New York City, Virginia and the Hamptons.
The banker, Stephen Calk, president of the Federal Savings Bank, was announced as a member of candidate Trump's Council of Economic Advisers in August 2016.
