The Smiths? I'm still around but not knitting as much lately.

You got it! Bummer, why aren't you knitting? I hit a dry spell a few months ago and didn't touch anything for about 2 months, but now I'm back and doing it more than ever.

Those sound like fun projects. I'm currently working on #20 Cross Bodice Top by Joan McGowan-Michael from Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 2012. I've grown very very fond of Vogue Knitting patterns lately.

Nifty! I bet it's going to turn out gorgeous. What kind of yarn are you working with?

It's just Red Heart. Nothing fancy. The colour is called Tea Leaf and it's quite pretty.

I'm knitting (and writing the pattern for)a Fairy Elf Coat for my daughter, the Lace and Cables Cardigan, a Daisy Lace Scarf that I'm designing (here is a link to my post with the swatches), The Great North American Afghan, and a pair of socks--my travel project. Why yes, I might have knitting ADD--ooh look..something shiny.

That looks like fun! Lotsa variety there too, whoa. I've got a bunch of stuff on the needles other than what I listed, good lord. I've got the worst ADD these days! Also, comment was de-spamified. All comments with links automatically get marked as suspicious, unfortunately.

I started in March. I've finished the top part of the sweater which is in dk weight. I've knitted the sleeves which are in dk weight for the short sleeves part and fingering weight to make them long sleeves with a layered look. I still have to do the stripes (fingering weight) from the midriff down and the hood which will also be in fingering weight. All the knitting left is fingering weight. Her sweater is resting comfortably now in an undisclosed location while I work on a sweater for this winter for myself, the Daisy Lace Shawl and a few other things. I'm also working on a Market Squares Bag in Entrelac. I'll let you guys google that so I don't get spamified again. I teach knitting, crochet and spinning so I have a lot of work related projects to do.

Oh, you're not going to believe this, but . . . a sock! Yes! A straight ss sock! Toe up, circs, purty purple dyed by my niece, and, wait for it . . . I'm not screaming and throwing things!

Can you tell I'm not a sock knitter?

Oh dear, me either. I have made roughly 2 1/2 pairs of socks, and I'm hoping maybe later I'll be able to stand it. I've got a single sock that was super simple tubesock, no heel or anything, just a tube! And it's on #6s, with nice squishy yarn I love. But the sock has been friendless for a few months now, because I just can't do it. Also, it's for a kid. Kid with a big foot, but still... shameful!

I curse whenever I touch the damn thing, so you're way better than me, haha.
