The vets appointment has been made for this afternoon.  I have a friend coming with me.  It is tough to say good bye.  Even though I know she has been ill for a long time and she really has reached the end of the road.  It is still tough.  I have moaned and whined about her senile dementia, I still feel like I am letting her down.

Aw, sweetie. That's a hard thing to do. I'm sorry. I felt much the same way when we had to take Bailey in; he was such a sweet dog.

It's tough on the furry children but i'm sure you made what time she had left a positive thing and i don't think you're giving up on her in the way you think.

She'll have you with her in the end and that's what's important to her.
