Breathtaking photos.

We're still a good month away from hyacinths.

Thank you!

The daffodils and the hyacinths have been out here for weeks now, half-flattened by the rain and gales, but flowering valiantly.

That really does look like a temple.

I love the beautiful blue sea, the jagged cliffs, and the "temple" ruins.

Thanks for another lovely tour!

It was such a gorgeous day - the light was wonderful.

Just the one glorious day though. Today we are back to rain hammering against the windows.

You're welcome!

Yesterday was glorious.

Though looking out the window right now into the darkness and the rain, I think I might have dreamt it...

It was so nice to see one beautiful spring day, before the rain began again...

Today the sky has been black and the rain has been hammering against the windows. And I have been looking at plant catalogues, and dreaming of summer planting schemes.

these are pleasant dreams! I stocked up on seeds in the fall and am awaiting the arrival of two parcels from nurseries (roses!) - but this will be around May. My two wigwams for roses are in the sun and have already been partially opened for ventilation, because the temperature is plus 2 - minus 4 degrees Celsius in the shade.

Roses! I try not to be tempted... but there is perhaps one tiny space in the garden that might fit another rose.
