You must have a lot of patience, great camera lenses (or more likely, both) to get such excellent photos of the wildflowers and the insects that feed on them.
Thanks for treating us to these lovely flowers and the butterflies, bees and other insects that frequent them.
I walk these paths every year, so I know where there are patches of flowers that will attract butterflies on a warm day: and I just head there and lurk with my zoom lens!
The hillside is looking fabulous this year. It's always managed for wild flowers, but some years they leave the cattle on a bit too long, and it gets overgrazed. This year they seem to have got it just right. So many flowers!
I envy your butterfly capturing skills - they always seem to fly away from me even when I'm not that close (in my opinion, which is evidently not the same as the opinion of my subjects).
I can't say I was enjoying the hot, close weather, but it was a perfect day for butterfly photography - the butterflies were hot and inclined to feed, so I could sneak right up with my zoom lens.
It's not often like that. More often I'm following butterflies forlornly along the hedgerow, waiting for them to land.

Yes, those Marbled Whites are such beautiful, eye-catching butterflies. It was very kind of them to actually land and pose for me!
