It was glorious. We haven't had much in the way of spectacular sunsets all summer, but this one, among the cirrus clouds, was a beauty.

For a moment there, I thought the sheep were the installation.
Fab pics!

Heh! A very mobile art installation - they took off when the Manchester Terrier approached.

Thank you!

That golden light looks very autumnal.

I love Max's expression, so alert to the possibility of cake.

Yes, the light has definitely changed in the past two weeks, no longer the hard light of summer.

They have home-made cakes at this tea room, and home-made cake is Max's favourite.

Yes, the views from up on the headland are always stunning. So it wasn't too much of a disappointment to miss the art installation.

Thanks!

I love how Max is taking his job as Cake-guard so seriously! :-)

The rolling hills are lovely and your pictures of them are great. Like another poster, at first I thought the sheep were the art installation. You photo has turned them into art anyway.

Thanks for sharing your "gold" with us!

Yes, but who was guarding the cake from Max?!

The way the sheep were gathered on the rim of the "bowl" was rather arty, but I don't think they were an installation!
