You've had brighter weather than we've got here. I love that final cottage. It looks as though the front has been modified considerably over the years.

Yesterday was glorious - so much sunlight! Back to cloud today though.

Yes, there's definitely been something going on with that cottage. The original bricks look handmade, so maybe early 19th century, and the bricks in the filled-in windows look more regular, so maybe late 19th or 20th century?

It felt very spring-like yesterday - even the woodpeckers were drumming. But today winter has returned.

and our chickadee birds are already "sawing" in spring, although it snows every day

The coal-tits here have been "sawing" away, out in the forest. They start practising early for spring!

Yesterday was glorious. A short break from winter - just what's needed in January.

Lovely countryside! ...and flowers! Thanks for taking us along on your trip! :-)

The great nor'easter missed us here. We had bitter cold, but sunshine all weekend. We still have plenty of snow, but none fresh. I envy your spring-like weather, ...and the flowers!

You're welcome!

Yesterday did feel almost spring-like, once the early frost had gone off... But the only flowers I'm seeing are the ones that bloom in winter - winter jasmine, daphne odora, winter heliotrope. I don't think spring is here yet!
