Summary: Glee girls and Kurt have a sleepover. Whose the hottest Disney prince?
Word Count: 3218

It happened at one of Rachel Berry’s sleepovers, as many of their more memorable encounters have. It was two weeks before Regionals and Schue was running them ragged. Even Rachel had to admit it. Which is why she proposed a girls’ night at her house that Saturday. In retaliation, Artie proposed guys’ night at his house. And so the club was split for a night of supposed relaxation and team bonding. The only variable, as always, was Kurt. When the team split up like this, Kurt sometimes went with the guys for action movie nights and sometimes with the girls for spa treatment. This time he chose the girls.

“Now, we let the avocado mask sit for ten minutes and then-“

“We eat it off?” Quinn was having difficulty keeping herself from licking the mask.

Kurt made a face, “Ew, no! We wash it off with the grapefruit cleanser.”

“Here, Quinn, eat the half that we didn’t use,” the pregnant blonde gave Rachel a winning smile as she prepared to eat the offered fruit.

Mercedes was getting antsy, “Alright, what’s on the agenda for the rest of the night?”

Kurt ticked off events on his fingers, “Well, then we have manicures and pedicures and-“

“Hair makeovers!” Tina waved her hair dye mischievously.

“Oooh, yes! I wanted some red in my hair for the pep rally next week,” Santana looked uncharacteristically excited. Tina beamed at her.

“Do you have any blue?” Tina and rest of the girls looked at Kurt in shock. “What? I need a change. Got to keep everyone on their toes.”

Rachel smiled mischievously, “Or keep one mohawked football player on his toes?” Kurt blushed scarlet as the rest of the girls catcalled.

The boy sniffed and turned his nose up, crossing his arms defensively, “Oh, please. I don’t need to do anything to keep Puck on his toes.”

“Oh, is it Puck now? I thought it was Noah,” Mercedes practically sang out the last part and Kurt leveled a glare at his grinning best friend. The girls catcalled some more, much to Kurt’s chagrin.

“Shut up!” His cheeks were on fire at this point, “Noah and I-“

“Are in love,” finished the rest of room, teasingly.

“No! It’s early in the relationship and he’s my first boyfriend and-“

“You’re completely and utterly in love with him,” Tina supplied.

Kurt sighed and hunched his shoulders in defeat, “I am completely and utterly in love with him.”

The girls cheered and Kurt offered them a sad smile. “What’s wrong, Kurt? You should be happy, you’re with a guy you love.”

Kurt looked into Rachel’s earnest face and for once didn’t feel the need to smack her, “Too bad I’m just another fuck to him.”

Tina and Mercedes gasped, “You had sex?”

Kurt glared, “Thank you, truly, for focusing on the important part of that statement.” The girls look sheepish, “And no. We did not have sex. But that’s the only reason Noah is with me.”

Santana burst out laughing. The rest of the gleeks looked at her incredulously. She continued to crack up and Mercedes cracked her knuckles, “That’s it. Homegirl, you are going down.”

Santana finally pulled her self together, “Chill, ‘Cedes.” The rest of them still couldn’t believe the friendship that existed between Mercedes and Santana. It held its roots in musical interests, but was still unbelievable. “Fairy, Puck doesn’t wait for sex. You guys have been going out for four months! If all Puck wanted was your ass, he would be long gone by now.”

Rachel scrunched up her nose, “As crude as Santana’s wording is, she’s correct. Kurt, you’d have to be blind not to see how interested Noah is in you.”

“You really think so?” The normally confident boy sounded so small.

“Yes!” came the deafening reply from the girls. Kurt beamed and then laughed when Mercedes said, “Boy, you are the hottest diva that ever hit that school and I’m including myself in that category.”

Rachel clapped her hands, “Mani-pedi time! Brittany, can you put on some music from Tina’s laptop? My dad’s are not here, so we can maintain a high volume.”

Brittany reached for the computer, but Tina beat her to it, “Sorry, Brittany. I, uh, I have some songs in mind.”

The blonde smiled, “No problem!”

Tina maneuvered her computer and when the song started playing, everyone cheered. Santana yelled, “I love this song.”

“I love this movie!”

Mercedes started singing along, “From the day we arrive on the planet”

Rachel picked up, “Blinking, step into the sun”

Tina continued, “More to do than can ever be done/ There's far too much to take in here/ More to find than can ever be found”

Kurt and Brittany smiled to one another as they sang, “But the sun rolling high/
Through the sapphire sky/ Keeps great and small on the endless round”

The volume was blasted as everyone belted, “It's the Circle of Life!” before collapsing, giggling.

Kurt wiped away tears of laughter before asking, “Is it weird that I find Simba attractive?”

A litany of “No” and “Me too!” and “Hot damn, is that one fine lion” answered him. Quinn presented a challenge, “Simba is cute and all, but Eric from the Little Mermaid is obviously the most attractive Disney prince.”

Rachel, as usual, jumped to argue, “I respect your opinion, Quinn, but you’re very much mistaken. Hercules is the most attractive Disney prince.”

“You white girls have no idea of what you’re talking about. Tarzan is the flyest Disney guy. Have you seen his body?” Santana reached over to high-five the black diva, “Word.”

Tina offered her two cents, “I like Shang from Mulan.” They all turned to her, quizzical looks on their faces, “And NOT because he’s Asian!”

Kurt laughed, “Well, as usual, you girls got it all wrong. Aladdin is obviously the hottest Disney prince.”

Brittany nodded while Santana snorted, “Please! Could you be any more of a walking sap?”

“I have no idea what you’re implying.”

“I’m implying that a certain street-rat is basically the cartoon version of a real-life street rat that you and I have both made out with.”

Kurt colored, “Aladdin doesn’t look like Noah at all!”

Rachel nodded, “Kurt is right, Aladdin isn’t tan-“

“And his pecs aren’t chiseled-“

“And he doesn’t have a problem with the law and authority figures-“

“And he doesn’t fall for the most stubborn princess of them all-“

“Alright, alright! Sweet Versace, you bunch are annoying. Yes, Noah reminds me of Aladdin. Yes, that made me watch the movie 15 times in one weekend. Yes, I dream of taking a magic carpet ride. Happy now?”

Mercedes grinned, “Very.” Kurt stuck his tongue out at her. Great, they were being reduced to children.

Santana turned to the smug-looking Rachel, “Don’t start, Berry. Hercules? The large, strong idiotic-goofy-cute prince? Remind you of a tree we all know?”

Tina snickered and then squeaked when Santana turned on her, “And you, Goth Girl. Shang? The man that got pissed at his love when he found out she lied to him, but it all worked out in the end? You guys are pathetic.”

Kurt, Rachel, and Tina traded looks before simultaneously grabbing pillows and hitting the Latina cheerleader with them, “Pillow fight!”

“It’s such a beautiful night,” Rachel sighed as she sat by the window an hour later, waiting for her toes to dry.

“It is, isn’t it?” Kurt replied from his place on the floor, concentrating on getting Brittany’s pink polish perfect. A second later, he declared himself done, “Why don’t we go for a midnight walk? Maybe to the park? I feel like swinging.”

Brittany squealed, “Yes! Can we please?”

Mercedes, Tina, and Santana quickly agreed. Rachel hesitated, “But we are already in our pajamas.”

Kurt shrugged, “So? No one is out anyway. Let’s go in our PJs.”

Rachel eyed the short shorts her and Kurt were both wearing, “Are you sure?”

“Hey, I don’t mind if you don’t. Besides our legs look fantastic.”

And so the seven of them marched out to the neighborhood playground.

When they arrived, Kurt and Brittany made a beeline for the swings. Tina and Santana opted for the monkey bars, while Mercedes ran to the slide. Rachel and Quinn looked at each other before making their way over to the see-saw, grinning widely.

Quinn, once in motion with Rachel, broke the silence, “Being pregnant, I forgot how much fun it is just to be a kid again, you know?”

Kurt pumped his arms and legs, willing himself to fly higher, “Quinn, it’s not just you or you being pregnant. It’s high school and drama and relationships and sex. We’ve all forgotten what it’s like to be kids.”

Rachel hummed in agreement, “Especially with the never ending slushie wars and need to fit in. Remember when making friends was just playing in the sandbox together or having the same backpack or saying, ‘Let’s be friends!’”

“Life was so much better back then,” Tina chimed in.

“No, I wouldn’t say that.” Kurt replied, “It was different. I mean, now we can appreciate things like relationships and competitions and-“

“Hot, muscular mohawked pool-boys?” Santana was not going let up.

“And hot, muscular mohawked pool-boys,” Kurt agreed.

“Alright, new question. While we’re on the subject of childhood and love, what is the most romantic Disney song?” Tina asked as she and Santana hung upside down on the monkey bars.

“Oh, that’s a good one!” Rachel squealed, “I would have to say ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’. Elton John is a genius.”

“Good one, white girl! Word, that is a great song, but I’d say ‘Kiss the Girl’. That song is epic!”

“No, no, no,” Santana shook her head, hair flying, “It has to be ‘A Whole New World’.”

“San, that’s what I was going to say!”

“Great minds think alike, Britt!”

Quinn looked thoughtful, “I’m pretty sure ‘Once Upon a Dream’ is the most romantic. There’s something about knowing you love someone before you’ve even met that does it for me.”

Tina smiled, “This was used platonically in the movie, but ‘You’ll Be in My Heart’ from Tarzan is so romantic to me.”

“I love Phil Collins, too!” Rachel paused, “Kurt, what’s your most romantic song?”

Kurt, who had reached the pinnacle of his swinging career in the progress of the conversation, replied, “I like all of the songs that you ladies mentioned. But my most romantic Disney song isn’t really a Disney song.”

Mercedes slid into the sand pit, “What? What does that even mean?”

“You know how there have been some animated features that have come out that feel like Disney movies but aren’t made by Disney?”

Tina nodded, the sight of which was amusing, considering she was still upside-down, “You mean like ‘Anastasia’?”

“Yes, yes, exactly! Have you ever seen ‘The Swan Princess’?”

Tina, Mercedes, and Santana shook their heads, while Rachel, Quinn, and Brittany nodded excitedly, “I love that movie!”

Kurt smiled, “Well, ‘Far Longer That Forever’ is the most romantic song ever.”

Tina flipped herself right-side up, head starting to hurt from all the blood rushing to it, “How does it go?”

Kurt, who was still very high in the air, boldly jumped off the swing in mid-air, sticking the landing impressively. The girls cheered and applauded. He bowed and continued, “Well, the movie is about this princess that has a spell put on her that, while the moon is not in the sky, she’s a swan. Her lover is looking all over for her, but she can’t go to him because, in order to turn back into a human every night, she has to be on the lake. So, while on this lake, she sings this song and her prince sings the other half of the duet from his castle.”

Rachel and Quinn kept going up and down on the see-saw, “Sing, Kurt, sing!”

Kurt smiled, “Well, if you insist. If I could break the spell, / I’d run to him today/ Somehow I know he’s on his way to me/ Derek, you and I were meant to be.”

Kurt’s voice was heavenly and his actions while singing intensified the performance. He walked around the playground, singing to the moon, which was so bright that night. Rachel had to give it to him, he was certainly a skilled performer, “Far longer than forever/ I’ll hold you in my heart/ It’s almost like you’re here with me/ Although we’re far apart.”

There was a pause and those familiar with the song knew it to be Derek’s entrance. Just as Rachel opened her mouth to take on the male part, someone, a male someone, beat her to it.

“Far longer than forever/ As constant as a star/ I close my eyes and I am where you are.” Kurt and the girls whirled around to see no one other than Noah Puckerman walking out of the trees, singing his heart out.

Recovering quickly, Kurt sang, “As sure as the dawn/ brings the sunrise/ We’ve an unshakable bond.”

Puck walked closer to Kurt, “Destined to last for a lifetime/ and beyond/ Far longer than forever.”

Kurt walked toward his boyfriend, “Far longer than forever.”

Puck jumped on the bench that separated them, “I swear that I’ll be true!”

Kurt jumped on the bench as well, echoing Puck, “I swear that I’ll be true!”

Quinn shared a disbelieving look with Rachel. Was this for real?

Puck grabbed Kurt’s hand and led him to the middle of the playground. Together they sang, “I’ve made an everlasting vow/ To find a way to you/ Far longer forever/ Like no love ever known/ and with your love/ I’ll never be alone.”

Kurt turned to face Puck, singing softly, “Far longer than forever.”

Puck took both of Kurt’s hands into his own and sang to him, “Much stronger than forever.”

Finishing the song, Kurt moved his face closer to Puck’s, “And with your love/ I’ll never be alone.”

Puck closed the space in between their faces and caught Kurt’s lips in such a sweet kiss, it made Kurt’s knees go weak and all the girls sigh. When they pulled apart, Kurt asked the question that was on all their minds since the start of the duet, “What are you doing here?”

Puck shrugged, “Went for a walk in the neighborhood. Nice shorts, by the way”

Kurt’s eyebrows did all the talking, but his voice followed up, “In the neighborhood across town from your place? At one in the morning? By yourself? Think again, Puckerman. Weren’t you supposed to be at Artie’s for guys’ night?” And suddenly, it hit him. “The computer! The webcam was on. Tina, you’re a spy!”

The girls gasped and looked at the goth, who was now standing on the tallest part of the jungle-gym. She shrugged, “Artie told me that the guys were sure that all we talk about is sex and guys. So, I thought we could prove them wrong. Which we did, for the most part.”

Kurt rolled his eyes, “Thanks a lot, Tina. You could have let us in on this!”

Puck smirked, “So, I’m Aladdin, huh, Hummel?”

Kurt punched him in the arm, “Oh, shut up, Puckerman. You’ll never be as cool or attractive or smooth as Aladdin!”

Puck raised one eyebrow, “Oh, really?” He turned to the trees that he came from, “Guys? Let’s do this!”

Kurt and the girls watched in disbelief as Puck ran back to the bushes and picked up a skateboard, while the other males of Glee came out of the bushes. Finn and Mike were on rollerblades, Matt and Puck on skateboards, and Artie in his wheelchair. Finn rolled over to a lamppost, “Artie, hit it!”

Artie took the boombox out of his lap and turned it on before placing it on the ground. A loud, quick beat came out of it as the boys skated around the small playground.

Artie rolled over to the swings as he sang, “Open up your eyes, take a look at me/
Get the picture fixed in your memory/ I'm driven by the rhythm like the beat of a heart.” His audience was captivated as he popped three wheelies in succession of each other.

The rest of the boys joined in, “And I won't stop until I start/To stand out/ To stand out.”

Kurt and the girls hardly knew where to look, there was so much activity surrounding them. Finn had one arm around the lamppost, skating around and around. Mike was grinding down the slide on his skates, while Puck pulled repeated ollies around the swings.

Matt skated around Rachel and Quinn, who were still on the see-saw and sang, “Some people settle for the typical thing/ Livin' all their lives waiting in the wings/ It ain't a question of "if",/ just a matter of time /Before I move to the front of the line.”

Mike picked up the song, “Once you're watching every move that I make/ You gotta believe that I got what it takes/ To stand out, above the crowd/Even if I gotta shout out loud.”

The boys came together again, “Til mine is the only face you'll see/Gonna stand out .../'Til ya notice me.”

Kurt was overwhelmed. While his and his fellow gleeks’ lives were more musical than most, this was something completely different. The girls and him were legitimately in a Disney movie right now. He was startled out of his thoughts as Puck circled him, singing to him, “ If the squeaky wheel's always gettin' the grease/ I'm totally devoted to disturbing the peace/ And I'll do it all again, when I get done/
Until I become your number one/ No method to the madness, and no means of escape/ Gonna break every rule or bend them all outta shape.” Kurt laughed, if there ever were appropriate lyrics for Puck, these were it.

The guys continued together, each doing his own thing, “It ain't a question of "how",/ just a matter of when/You get the message that I'm tryin' to send/I'm under a spell, I'm in over my head/And you know I'm going all the way to the end”

They all congregated in the middle of the playground, skating and wheeling in a circle, singing at the top of their lungs, “To stand out, above the crowd/ Even if I gotta shout out loud/'Til mine is the only face you'll see/ Gonna, stand out, staaaand out/ Stand out!/ Stand out!”

Puck broke away from the group to skate right in front of Kurt, “'Til mine is the only face you'll see/ Gonna stand out/'Til ya notice me”

They ended, out of breath, but smiling. The girls and Kurt took a beat before bursting in loud, enthusiastic applause. Kurt lunged at Puck, wrapping his arms around his neck and bringing their lips together.

Breaking apart, Puck softly sang to his boyfriend, “A whole new world”

Kurt beamed and replied, “A whole new world”

Together they sang, “For you and me”

Their lives were more musical than most, but they weren’t going to stop until they lived in a freakin’ Disney movie. Far longer than forever. From the day they arrived on the planet. They want to be part of your world. And every other song-lyric-cliché.
