Nnnnh. Normally I don't care for Gabrielfic- I just don't see the point- but I read this one because I trust you and I am so very glad I did. Because it is so clear that, powers or now powers, this is the same creepy-ass person. And the mindgames- this ship was invented for the mindgames.

Love!

I'm glad you trust me to that extent, I will attempt not to mislead you ^^ No promises. And that's exactly it to me! I feel as though it's just part of his personality, the powers didn't do it- they just amplified it. The ship owns mindgames, thank god.

Hurrah! Love back!

I love that even though there are no powers involved, Gabriel is still fucked up. But, I have to wonder about the last section--what does he really have to lie about? Or is it simply a matter of not wanting to give all that much information? (Or is he a gay serial killer? I'd really like it if he were a gay serial killer, as long as he wasn't planning on killing Mohinder ::giggle::)

I was thinking it was more of him not completely letting Mohinder in, just sort of keeping him along the edge. So perhaps lies about his family, or his number of siblings, or what he did on the weekend or his favourite hobbies. I probably (read: definitely) should've clarified.

But I like the idea of him as a gay serial killer who loves Mohinder and, therefore, would never kill him. Perhaps if Gabriel were a homophobic serial killer who killed gays but fell in love with Mohinder (because, y'know what they say about homophobes).

Or, y'know, not. ^^ Damn you plot bunnies.

::giggle:: Yeah, I figured you probably meant it to be him just lying about stupid stuff, but I love me some gay serial killers, even ones without powers. He wouldn't necessarily have to be a homophobe, though if that's where you're mind is going...^.^ Hell, then he'd probably more appreciate the fact that Mohinder was bashful and inexperienced or whatever. And he could continue killing and compare them all to his angelic Mohinder and find them wanting ::laugh::

Hey, plot bunnies are GOOD thing, y'know. And Sylar/Mohinder in fucked up relationships plot bunnies are the best kind, of course. ^.^

Hee, understandably! I also loves me some gay serial killers. Though it'd be even awesomer with powers involved- especially if Mohinder had a power. It could be fun. Twisted fun. They could have a cat and mouse thing going on.

I love Mohinder as bashful and inexperienced. I especially love that you used the adjective 'bashful' hee. You're right! He could give these creepy speeches in his victim's last moments about how they just weren't awesome enough (except, y'know, not 'awesome' but 'beautific and charming and ect') and just keep killing because they're a mockery to Mohinder.

You're right, they just get annoying when they're nibbling at your feet ^^ Damn straight! Sylar/Mohinder fucked up relationship plot bunnies are the only kind of worthy plot bunnies :)

This was brilliant. YOU are brilliant. Excellently crafted story. You have Gabriel down to a T. Awesome job.

Aww thank you! That is high praise and I appreciate it! ^^ I have an intense love for Gabriel, twisted as he may be.

As do I, but unfortunately I do not have your talents, and cannot write a fic from his POV, hard as I try. I can only seem to write from Mohinder's perspective. Or an OC. Or an omniscient narrator. It's really weird. And annoying.

I don't believe that a whit :P For me I find that certain ways of writing (from certain POVs or with certain tenses or whatnot) come easier than others. I have a lot of things that I really struggle with when writing but it makes it all the more satisfying once you actually get it written.

I have full faith in you ^^

And don't worry- I'm all about random rants. And sweet, sweet lovin'... but that's another story :)

Oh, this is awesome. It's so easy to just treat Gabriel like a normal person in fic, but in reality he HAD to be fucked up way before he started killing. I love that this reflects that. I love the religious theme, too, because using religion in dark ways is a little kink of mine. ;)

Thank you! It's true, when I saw the start of that episode with his mother (if you saw it?) I couldn't help but apologize mentally for all the fics I'd written with him being a twisted bastard. But, of course, the episode progressed...

Religion is too perfect not to use. I like working it in as much as possible :)

Religious-themed fanfiction is about my favourite type and this is wonderfully well-done. I love how you have Gabriel here, not "evil" or a serial killer, but definitely twisted even without his powers. Plus the build up to the ending is perfect.
Maybe this was how God felt.
*Hums happily while a shiver runs down my spine*
That has to be one of the best ending lines I've ever read. I love that it went from talking to God to "Being God" and the subtle fact that it was Mohinder who made him feel like that, that for all Gabriels wanting to be special and powerful it's Mohinder with the power, I mean without him Gabriel would still be just some unnoticed creep.

It's one of my favourites, to be sure. Thank you! Due to my lack of strong plot I rely heavily on feelings and strong endings (if at all possible). So I appreciate you saying that.

Exactly! I love that you picked up on that, how Mohinder is really the one with the power, but Gabriel doesn't realize it at all. Because he wouldn't.
