Haha, yes, agreed. It's a permenant state of being in fandom. And considering my Doctor/Rose shipper obsessiveness I am very used to it.

Yes. Myself as well. My ships are almost NEVER canon, and if they are, like doctor/rose & Chris/Jal, the writers do terrible things to them.

Denial is quite normal for me, lol.

Tell me about it - I used to LOVE Green Wing ( you ever watched it? ) and Caroline/Mac and then there was a similar Chris-type situation ... not nearly so devastating though and the special / finale made up for it somewhat.

But hey - at least there's some hope for Doctor/Rose right? Unless we get another Doomsday ... :(

I've only seen five minute blocks so far, and lately I've had hardly any time due to essay season at uni, but I definitely like what I've seen so far, lol. So yes, I think you definitely have a convert. On the subject of conversion, how did you get converted to Skins?

Um, well I watched it right from the beginning ( mostly 'cause there was loads of hype about it and it was filmed in Bristol ) but I wasn't actually converted till Episode 5 ... Chris's episode. :D

Very predictable of me I know but they had me from the graveside scene.

No scratch that, the drinking of milk in unison scene.

Haha. I would say the same, except it only started showing here in Oz in January. There'd been quite a to do about it, so of course I checked it out. I remained quite uninvolved until Chris's ep. So converted after that... I think it was the dropping of the baby that had me sold.

lol. Classic moment.

Hah, yeah it's not often that people cite baby droppings as one of their favourite moments.

But no, that scene is just pure brilliance - and it takes on a whole other level of significance and foreshadowing in light of Season 2.
